Looking for somewhere to go New Year’s Eve without the exposure to an Omicron, Delta etc. Variant of Covid! GOTAhams will be hosting a virtual (Zoom Conference) get together directly following Daves K6EV’s “Tech Net” Friday December 31st (approximately 9:00 pm).
Bring your favorite Beverage, snacks etc. to your Zoom capable device, log in to the usual “GOTAhams nightly Lounge” link and join the party! You do not need to be a GOTAhams member, all are welcome. To get an invitation with the link simply email firstname.lastname@example.org and request the link.
Kathi KD6CAF has been dreaming up some “Virtual games, so far she has a “Guess the resolution” game, you will need to email your resolution plan to her, she will compile the list. Please send your “Resolutions” to Kathi at email@example.com (BTW they need not be your actual resolutions, you can have some fun with it and throw folks off with your fake/joke resolves)

We will be holding a Hybrid style meeting in-person at Casa Jimenez Mexican Restaurant 921 W Foothill Blvd, Claremont, CA 91711 a Video Conference using Zoom.us on Wednesday @ 6:00pm! for those attending at the restaurant please arrive one hour early to order and complete your meat ahead of the meeting. If you are a board member or regular attendee, you will receive an email before the meeting with the Zoom video link. Join us Saturday January 25th at San Dimas Canyon Park and “Get On The Air” with the GOTAhams. We plan on setting up several HF band stations and will attempt to make as many contacts as we can from 1900 UTC (11:00 AM PDT) until Dusk (park closing). As always during our outings in the Park, Everyone is welcome, no license is required, we are sure you will learn something and “Get On The Air” Our Secretary always has something for Children to do, from making “Morse Code necklaces to code practice and building electronic circuits with “Snap Circuits”
Also our events are always “Social Events” first that include Radio Communication So come out Socialize and find out how much fun you can have with a transceiver.
