10m Net @ 6pm 28.330MHz
We are going to try a 10m test net on Saturday July 13th @ 6pm. If you want to join listen to 28.330 Upper Side Band (USB) starting at 6pm. We may have to move UP 5 khz or so if the frequency is busy. We will stay within the 10M allocation for Techs and as close to 28.330 as possible. We will try to stay on 5khz steps (i.e. 28330, 28335, 28310) to make us easy to find.
I will take check-ins then go back and get signal reports. As you listen write down how well you hear each station. We will use the Readability-Signal report, 1-5 for how well you can hear them and 1-9 for signal strength.
If you don’t hear me just keep listing and write down a report for the stations you do hear. I will have one or two other stations call for stations I did not hear. I will try to write down all the reports, but I am not sure how well this will work so please e-mail me ; your reports of how well you heard each station, your callsign, location, power, and what radio and antenna you are using.
I will be on the Zoom lounge and watching my e-mail before, during, and after the net. You do not need to be on Zoom or do anything other than be on the radio to join the net, but if you want to I will be watching when I can. I may not have time to respond while the net is in progress, but we can talk on Zoom when it is over. I will send out a complete report within a few days or Dave may send it with the weekly e-mail.
