In addition to our recurring monthly and annual events, GOTAhams and individual members have enjoyed participating in a range of special radio activities in recent years. In 2022 club members supported and participated in a 5K walk/run children’s benefit event at Bonelli park, the Tour De Foothill bicycle tour and the Covina Christmas Parade. Providing radio support at fixed and/or mobile bases is essential to the safe operation of these events and is both fun and satisfying for member-participants. We anticipate more such opportunities in the future.
